ML-II with 300 gr xtp and havester crushrib sabot, which powder?

I am heading out to NE for holidays and will take advantage of the season while I am there.

I have a few boxes of xtp 300 gr and getting harvester crush rib sabots from cabelas.

Which powder do you guys suggest?

I will be hunting 3rd week of Dec and I will probably be 0 to 20F, shot will be 150 yrds or less.

Start with 40 grains of Accurate Arms 5744 and work up to a MAX load of 45 grain. Good dependable Savage ML powder that is fairly easy to ignite at a wide range of temperatures.
