What would a brand new Savage .338 win Hog Hunter takeoff barrel be worth?

Thinking about buying one for a build. Just going to use the action and trigger. Also considering a 116 or SS 114. Guessing that beautiful wood stock and fluted barrel on the 114 would be worth around $150-$200 each brand new.

Thank you in advance for your advice.

I would think $120 shipped would be possible.

As to the 114 barrel and stock I would say $150 each would be a cap depending on chambering and figure in the wood. JMHO's of course.

Thank you Sir! Just what I needed to know. I keep looking for a nice used SS Long Action in my local gun shops, but it's the wrong time of the year. In 2 months they'll be a dime a dozen. If only I was a patient person.

Any time. I may be off on my figures, but from watching the classifieds around here that just seems to be where things seem to end up.
