savage model 340 series E in .22 hornet

this was my first firearm I inherited early last year. It was my grandfathers gun. In between my grandfathers passing and me taking possession of the rifle it saw some hard times with the mag being lost and the stock being cracked and poorly repaired. Since having it I have found a new magazine and enjoyed shooting it. Until a couple of weeks ago when somebody broke into my vehicle and stole my .22 hornet ammo box that also contained the bolt and magazine. My first goal is to get a replacement bolt. Does anyone know if a bolt from a more common .30-30 bolt can be modified to fit a .22 hornet? Here is a picture.

Numrich Arms has most of the parts for a bolt, but not all.
