    Picking up my first Savage today.


    I bought my first Savage Arms gun yesterday. It is a new 11-VT in .308 from Dick's yesterday. I have to go back and pick it up today (Communistic State of Illinois makes you wait 24 hours).

    Looking to punch paper and steel targets well beyond 300 yds., but will first have to work my way up to it.

    Anyway here I am to read the post, learn, contribute and add my 2 cents worth when I can.
