    Bolt heads and baffles

So, I screwed up my new build and discovered a 243 WSSM will not feed in a WSM stagger feed action. Did not know that. lol

Anyway, I am going to change to a 260 Rem barrel. When I change the bolt head, is the same wsm baffle going to work? I know I will have to remove the standing ejector.

Also, any way to use hte wsm magazine or do I need to find a 308 mag?

As long as the front baffle is one length and no long leg on the right hand side you are ok. You will need a .308 type staggerfeed mag as the wsm is too wide fir this type of cartridge.
Willing to give back for what the sport has done for me!

Also remember to change out your firing pin. The factory WSM heads are thicker and thus use a longer firing pin. If you switch to a 308 sized head you will need a standard firing pin.
