    Another BArrel Vise question

Would a Wheeler Barrel Vise also clamp an action? The vise some with 3 Oak blocks, 2 drilled for varied barrel sizes and one blank to drill for a custom application...if one were to drill it to the actions diameter could you then use it as a stationary action vise AND as a barrel vise as its intended to be?

the only problem i can think of is if it only puts the clamping pressure on the top and bottom of the action causing the action to crush(for sake of a better word)and bind...the action wrench puts an equal amount of pressure around the entire action not just the top and bottom...if you try it just dont tighten the vise super tight.
