    .260 Ballistics Question

I heard that if you load a 123Gr grain match bullet you'll ballistically loose very compared to a 140Gr bullet because the higher velocity makes up for it, does that make seem right to ya'll? I know it varies on powder/barrel length/ bullet BC but overall for long range paper shooting would you go with the 140Gr or the 123Gr?

You will have to gain 200-300fps. to beat the 140's.

It depends upon what your trying to do. The higher BC is going to win over longer distances and the higher SD is going to perform better on game so I don't see how the lighter bullet can make up for anything worth chasing.
