    Lakefield 90B that wont fire.

I just picked up a Lakefield 90B 22LR target rifle at an auction. The problem I am having is that it will not fire with out some help. I am guessing that it is because I have a bolt from another rifle, figured that from the serial # on the bolt. I found that there is .014 play when the bolt is locked down. This .014 is preventing the firing pin from fully striking the rim fire cartridge. I can force the bolt forward and get the 22LR to lite off other than that it is a 50% chance it will go off.

I purchased a firing pin that is made for a Savage 900TR, Mark I or Mark II. Does any one know where I can find a new or better bolt or does any one know how I can fix this problem.

Sounds like you need to have the barrel headspaced to the bolt. You might try Numrich or Jack First for the correct bolt.
