I'm referring to the new "bead blasted" finish that's on a model 11 I bought awhile ago. I like shiny stainless or a nice deep blued finish. What are my options for refinishing it? Pic of the rifle:

+1, that's your only option. If you have a decent local "gunsmith" that can do hot bluing, you can have the look you want in a short time.Originally Posted by sharpshooter

Re barreling is always the best option, what caliber is it anyway, the reason for the shot peening is it's very economical and hides a lot of blemishes.
