I am a native Texan and live in the DFW Metro area
I own both a Savage Axis .308 and the 25.06 Savage rifle as well.
Was looking to make my own 15 or 20 round magazines for both rifles
I found a G3 20 round metal mag for $3.99, so I bought it and when it comes in
I will use RatMags plans to build my own HCM for my Axis .308 first.
Then if this worlks out like I hope/think it will, I will attempt to purchase another G3 20 rounder if they make one
for 25.06 cal.
Its at least worth putting it to the work bench and finding out what I can do, thanks to z71rat, aweseom guy!!
Any tips or pics on "how to" I would appreciate and anything else regarding the 25.06 HCM as well.
