    Like a good Savage does. I can keep up with some of the costly setups, but this is still a less than $1K setup in total.

    That's better than I expected.....typically rimfires and aluminum stocks don't get along with one another.

    It has always shot better than I can, but lacks the consistency because I only feed it cheap CCI SV's so it would probably be better if I had mor $$'s to waste on better ammo but at club level shooting it doesn't warrant the outlay.

    Nice machining work on the stock. Is it 6000 series or 7000 series?

    Not sure but is marine grade that I score from the ship works that I worked in as they were all off cut pieces.

    Nicely done stock! Here in Georgia, mid summer, it would be a real cheek burner though, lol!

    I retensioned the action screws back to 15 inch/lbs. on all three screws, and it is still shooting nicely.
    These 5 shot groups are shot at 50 metres using cheap CCI SV's ammo.
