Cowboy Shooting

My wife (Angie Get Your Guns) and I (Chief Rick) will be travelling to NW Louisiana bright and early Saturday morning for our cowboy club's annual two-day match.

Shooting will be from approximately 0830 - noon both days.

Anyone in the area cool looking for something to do is welcome to come take a look. We will have some of the fastest shooters in the sport participating.

Doesn't cost anything to watch and vendors will be set up on site. You might be surprised and asked if you want to try out a stage after the competition part is over.

I finished 3rd in class and 57th overall, my wife finished 3rd in her class and 94th overall. We had 146 shooters.

A great time was had by all!

We were pleasantly surprised at the turnout, considering several clubs have been showing less attendance at their annual matches. We were estimating around 100-120 shooters going into the final week before the match,

I think it says a lot about our members that plan & set-up the match as well as the range itself.

I was a Posse Marshal/Timer Operator this match so I didn't get a chance to record much video. During our monthly matches I try to record every shooter on my posse.
