I have 5 Savages, more that I need not as many as I want.

Hi from Nor-Cal. As it says in the title I have several Savages and they all shoot well. I became a believer when I got the 17HMR and shot MOA at 100 yards.
I am 50 years old and have been hunting all my life.
After buying the 17 for squirrels, I got a model 11 in .243. it shot 3/4" groups with Federal (blue box) 100gr softpoint right out of the box.
I got my oldest son a .22 bolt in stainless, I got my youngest the left hand version (blued) and both of them shoot under an inch at 50 yrds.
My latest Savage is the Axis in 25-06. I killed a buck in Montana last fall with that one at 485yrds.
I love them all and as I always say "every gun I own is my favorite one!"

Glad to find the site. I'll be checking in.
    Thanks
