Axis Stock question

Hi guys, are any of the other model savage stocks that i could use on my 223 heavy barrel? Im probably going to paint my plastic stock so its more visually appealing, but nothing beats a nice wood stock imho. Thanks.

You can check out Boyds they have wood laminate stocks that you might like. For the heavy barrel Axis you might have to take a dowel and some sandpaper and open the barrel channel to accommodate the larger diameter, but that's no big deal.

The short answer is no. There are no Savage stocks except Axis and Edge stocks that will fit an Axis or Edge.
