    Hey everyone, recently been lurking around the forum quite a bit and finally getting around to making an account. Grew up shooting my whole life. Last few years Ive gotten into bolt actions and hunting quite a bit more. Currently deployed in Afghanistan and am online dreaming about parts, new guns and hunting when I get back stateside lol.

    I too discovered this forum while in Afghanistan. Must be something about being there and the desire to build a rifle that will allow you shoot longer a truer. Welcome and be safe.

    Funny, in 2007 when I was in Afghanistan at Kandahar AB, I too got interested in Savages and building rifles for long range shooting.
