    Greeting from Atlanta, GA


    Tomorrow I will be picking up my fathers 300 Savage Takedown, which was passed from his father. I don't know how old the gun is but from family members I've talked to it could easily go back to 1920's. I know that my grandfather put a lot of food on the table for over 30 years (maybe longer) in Western PA prior to his passing, and my dad hunted with this gun up until his passing. Although it has been over 30 years since I was hunting, I'm looking forward to making sure the gun is in good working condition, and maybe I will get back into hunting.
