Bet it is your snap caps
Hi to all,
I have a Stevens 200 that won't eject "PINK" snap caps and some times the caps stay in the chamber.
I recently pulled the bolt apart for some polishing on some areas to make for a smoother bolt lift and cycle.Oiled everything nice ang good with G96 and it did improve, but will not eject properly.
Wondering if any one has some advice.
Thanks

You cant judge proper operation with plastic snap caps. The azoom aluminum work good in functions tests I have performed. If the problem persists let us know once you cycle new ammo through your new rifle.
Willing to give back for what the sport has done for me!
Snap caps are just that, snap caps, something for the firing pin to bottom out on when dry firing, They're not intended to be used to check the function of a firearm. If you want to check it's function, feeding, extracting-ejecting and etc use dummy rounds or empty brass.

+1 or make up a dummy round using a spent primer.
