    Older E series 110 30-06 in a laminate stock

Picked this out of the rack at the local Cabellas this weekend. Shockingly great price. Can't decide what to do with the rifle. Will put the barrel on the classifieds. With the aftermarket sights probably would not have much interest.

My question though. Would the laminated stock be an add on? Doesn't seem like an older rifle would have had one. Plastic trigger guard seems like it would be newer also.

Looks identical to my Boyd's Prairie hunter in pepper, I put on an XL7. Could have been a dealer special; but probably the gent added.

    Would the sights be factory?

Edit to add: Sights look factory. Keeping barrel.

    Thanks everyone.

Read that. Going to order another 06 one and cut/tig weld back together. Make a blind mag that will work.
