Savage makes 7mm-08 barrels.
Need some advice. I dont want to build a custom rifle, I just want to change my 12FV from 223 to 7mm-08 if posssible. I've looked around on a few sites and have seen a wide range of prices for barrels and would end up changing stocks. I would like to stay with the same contour so I can use the same stock. I would even be happy with a factory barrel, if savage made one in 7mm-08. I know I will need to change bolt heads which shouldnt be a problem but where do I get a follower and so forth?
Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated as I have never done this before.

Romans 10:9 "That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
The factory barrels chambered 7-08 have a terrible twist rate. Check Midway for a Adams and Bennet barrel in a faster twist for an econonomical barrel or get a Shilen, McGowen or similare more expensive barrel in a better twist rate than the Savage barrel.
