Finally made it out to test the lighter fluid flush. No slam fires today. YAY!!!!!!
Did notice that on a couple bolt cycles I didn't bring it back to the end of the travel and the sear didn't reset.
Figured maybe it needed a little lubing after the lighter fluid flush. (Yah know what you said about adequate lube in lighter fluid; but being a guy......)
Got home put a drop of oil where the push handle meets the pin that holds it.
Closed the bolt; slam fire. ARRRRGGGHHH!!!!
So going to pull it apart again, completely degrease it, and just be sure to pull the bolt handle all the way back to be sure the sear resets.
Am not going to turn the sear engagement up yet, as worked fine except for sear not resetting with just a lift of the bolt handle.
