    Lowes dot com review

...so I'm working on a project and go to Lowes to purchase parts. About a week later they email me and ask me to review what I purchased. Not everything, but one item specifically. So I reviewed it as best I could, considering the mood I was in.

The item they wanted me to review was a 1/2" abs pipe elbow. I thought that was rather goofy, but I wrote the review and submitted it. Even more amazing was the fact that they accepted the review and published it.

You can read it here: http://www.lowes.com/pd_22520-322-35...o=#reviews_tab

(I posted the entire link so you can tell I'm not trying to spam or spoof anyone.)

Cheers. Enjoy the rest of your day.

P.s., In case you were wondering, I have kissed the Blarney Stone. Twice.

That's good stuff! I especially love the Bauhaus reference. You've succeeded in making the world a better place by adding a hidden treasure of whimsy.

I've done that a couple places when my opinion has been solicited on rather mundane items. Midway has suffered the brunt of my foolishness, but to their credit, they still post the reviews. Sportsman's Guide, on the other hand, is much more finicky, even when an overall very positive review refers to a product as "manly yoga pants".

And in case you're wondering: DPMS Barrel Vise Jaws AR-15 Aluminum; Savage Arms Trigger Guard Screw, Magazine Plate Screw Savage Mark II, 93 Series Steel Blue; and Lee EZ X Expander-Decapping Rod Clamp (Replacement Part) to name a few.

Thomae, I'm forwarding this to a director/architect at Lowes Corporate I fish with. He will get a laugh out of it. I'm in Wilkes County, home of Lowes. They may have some spots open in their CS call center if there are any stoners out here that can make it to work on time, and they still hire local folks that slept through the entire year of 9th grade.

I also gave it a positive review. However you left out the elbows quasi-proven ability to reverse male pattern baldness.

Funny….Unrelated,I read today that they had found a working meth lab in a Walmart bathroom in Indiana….Perhaps a hint as to either the work ethic of some chain store employee's or somebody not paying attention….On both Counts….But yours is funny and harmless…The other could be disastrous with the right guy in the can….
