    Hi From Stavely Alberta


    Hi All

    Just a quick intro if I may.

    My name is Dave and I live in just outside of a small Alberta town called Stavely. My wife and I emigrated to Canada in 2003 from just outside Manchester in the UK.

    I have been shooting, one way or another for a little over 45 years since I was 12 years of age when my dad bought me my first Airgun.

    I bought my first savage in 2004 the day after I got my PAL (Possession and Acquisition License). It's a SS .223 with Laminated Stock and the heavy target barrel. It's a real tack driver and I mainly use the gun for shooting Gophers (Richardsons Ground Squirrels) at between 200 to 400 yards using 55 gn Blitzkings.

    I gunsmith for a living so I get to handle plenty of these fine rifles.

    Hoping to contribute and hopefully draw on what I'm sure will be a wealth of knowledge here
