Headspace ?

I'm sure this has been covered a million times but I can't find my particular dilema. I removed my barrel to inspect the throat because of accuracy issues. Turned out to be another problem. Anyways because i can't seem to find my go no go guages, where I am putting the same barrel back on the same action can I headspace with fired brass out of that gun or would I be better off to go with resized brass and scotch tape??? Thanks in advance!!!!!

Same barrel, brass from same barrel, same action, i would use fired brass. That way you should be as close as you can get to where you were, without a reference mark to go by, as you were before taking the barrel off.

Thanks I appreciate. That's what I thought I was just second guessing myself and I just couldn't find it in the search so I thought I'd ask!!!!
