    Check on part #'s

I have a 12 FLV .223 I would like to convert to .308. looks like Numrich is the only place to have the bolt head in stock. Is this the right part http://www.gunpartscorp.com/Products/1354520.htm? it seems like there are different numbers depending on what model you look up.

    That's the correct part number.
You could also order directly from Savage using the following:
Bolt head, short LH std .308 p/n 104882
