yep. Have a smith either install one or have him thread the muzzle to accept one. Different brakes have different threads. They are also somewhat caliber specific (for somewhat obvious reasons) Also, if the brake does not have bottom ports, you will need a crush washer of some kind so that it can be tightened down to a point where the holes line up properly (not along the bottom) and remain tight. A lot of shooters prefer NOT to have bottom ports so the escaping gases do not throw dust from the ground up and back at you.
