I live in se Missouri and have liked savage riffles for some time. I have a savage 17 hmr now. I did have a single shot 220 swift varmint heavy barrel. I think I got it around 18 years ago I think it was a special run of that call from savage. The only thing I didint like about it was the factory stock looked kind of cheep. It was the best shooting gun I have ever had.i have shot ten shot groups at 300 yards that I could cover the group with a quarter .some groups at 300 I could cover with a dime . It was fun to put c batteries up on post at the range small side facing me at 300 yards and watching them explode in my scope .unfortunately I had to sell this gun to move 8 years ago.
