    Old style swivles

I just bought a 1946 vintage 99. it has been drilled and tapped for a scope by some unknown owner in it's past. I believe it's a pretty common model in 300 Savage. It has not had sling swivels installed on it. I plan to hunt this rifle and would like to install a sling. My question is, what type swivels would have been available for a mid 1940's Savage 99 and does anyone sell them? I know I could use modern QD swivel studs but I would like to keep it period looking.

Sling studs were not standard on most 99's. Only the model RS had them, here's a link with pictures; http://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthr..._RS_in_300_cal
