New to me Savage 270wsm - Stock?

Picked a used 270wsm over the weekend, barrel and action in great shape stock not so much - I want to replace with a hogue over molded stock - I know it is a short action (11) - I think it is a standard barrel and for hunting I was thinking just a pillar bed versus a full bed - what are your thoughts it does have a DBM. Doesn't have to be hogue but want to stay synthetic no wood.

    Thanks
    Clint

Cost would be the only reason I would opt out of full bed. From what I can gather the full bed is similar to the Accustock. With or without the full bed I think it would be fine for anything out to 300 yards if you don't use a tripod. Otherwise, it might be too flimsy.
