    Hello from Texas

Hello from Houston. Just joined but have been browsing for a while. Not new too forums or pistols but have only gotten into rifles within the past year. Bought a Remington 700 to start deer hunting last year and then sent it off for the recall. Not sure if I would get it back in time so I just acquired a used Savage 110FP in .308 with a 20" bull barrel. Anyway just wanted to say hello and start learning from all the experience you guys have.

    Josh

Not to far from Louisiana on a lease in Jasper County. I wish I could get there more often for some hogs but work and a two month old have slowed that down. Definitely going for deer season though

Welcome. You'll find that Savage 308 to be a tack driver with the right loads.
