I have no pictures to prove yet but I shot mine scoped for the first time Sunday and first 3 shots from about 75 yrds were all touching and was less than a half inch low of the bullseye. This was the first time I ever shot a .308 and this was after being boresighted with one of those cheap laser pointers. I'm more than happy with the results. I'll get some proof pics one of these days. We got a little sidetracked with blowing up hedgeapples that day to worry about groups...Lol.

I could only see the stray shot in the scope, so I new the other shots was in the blue. When the target came back I heard some commotion, and I thought "wow some one shot a good group." Then I had a few people come over and shake my hand and say "good shooting Pat." I then went over to the wailing wall, and my jaw dropped when I saw my target. It was truly a magic moment.
Tell me more about the stock... I'm thinking of getting an axis but the lack of options for stocks is deterring me.

SSS has a variety of stocks for the axis actions. The stock I have is a 3 in wide forearm dog tracker Benchrest stock.

Ho, hum. I have 2 Axis rifles, .223 and .270, both unmodified except for the ballpoint-pen trigger spring conversion. Both shoot like that. Downright boring .

Pisgah, what the HECK are you talking about, "Ho, hum"??!! Pat's was a sensational group that NO one shoots regularly, not even Pat! Take another look. That group was not at 100 yards. :)

    "Ho, hum" indeed! :)

    Yep.
That one flew right over my head like a 747 :)

Oh, well. Now you know what my wife has to deal with sometimes.
