Sgt, be aware that the flex point on those stocks is way back near the barrel nut. Stiffening the forearm alone wont do what you are trying to do, it will help a little but it will still flex some at that point. Been there, done that. My favorite hunting rifle I made in 7x57 has the unmodified plastic stock and I find as long as there is enough gap in the barrel channel I have no problem under normal conditions. A bipod is not recommended with these stocks as they tend to twist the forearm which is the worst problem with flex.
