Hi, my name is Mike and I am checking in. Not new to the gun forum scene, just new to this forum. I decided to join a Savage forum because I have bought my first Savage rifle. Here it is...93R17:
Nothing fancy, but I put a 4 -12 x 40mm scope on it and also picked up 1,000 rounds of a mix of Hornady, CCI, and Winchester 17 grain V-max ammo to shoot through it. I have never owned a .17 HMR, but from a couple of the guys at work, they sound laser-like accurate! Looking forward to that.
I have never owned a Savage product before, but I do know that Savage seems to have quite a reputation for accuracy. Anyway, hello and hope to be an asset to this forum!
