    New trigger?

I'm in the process of building up an old style (F prefix) 111. It has an adjustable trigger, not Accu-trigger, and I'm wondering if a new trigger like a Basix SAV-1 would be worth the money?

    Thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Scott

If you are going to hunt with it you can adjust the factory trigger to an acceptable weight. You wil also have to change out the wire spring for a smaller one. On the other hand if you are just target shooting you may want to step up to their SAV-2 or another manufacture all together. But to answer your question, yes the SAV-1 is worth the money.

Be carefull when working on a trigger, it can go bad real quick if you get in a hurry. You may also want to view a few videos to augment your understanding of the process.

I've used the SAV-1 on a number of builds, you will like it!

For bench and varmint I like the Sav-2. Haven't tried the Sav-1.
