    savage newbie


    long time shooter of both rifles and handguns. strictly a hand loader, no commercial ammo. have a bunch long guns and pistols from remington, winchester, ruger, marlin, h&r, ithac, and others. dunno why it's taken me so long to finally get a savage, the 12fv in .204 ruger. should be fun!

    thank y'all.

    just back from the LGS with powder (varget), and primers (rem 6-1/2, wanted 7-1/2 - oh well). bullets (32 and 40 v-max) and brass (hornady) on order. making rounds will give me something to do while awaiting the rifle and boyd stock. feels like christmas in the summer.
