65gr gameking 1-12 twist

anyone stabilized a 65 gr gameking out of a 12 twist? i figured at 22-250 velocity it would but just want to see if anyones done it before i buy a box

Yep works great under 36gr of reloader 17. The 69gr Match King works great too.

Thanks! Thinkin I may try to shoot a doe with my 22-250ai this year. those 65 gr Gamekings look nasty! The 53 gr vmaxs I have loaded up now just vaporize, probably would only want to head shoot a doe or neck

They work great on deer. Lots of hunters around here use a .22-250 and the game king to take deer out to 500 yards with ease.

the 69 and 77 smks stabilize when the numbers say they shouldnt, just wondering if the gamekings do to

Remember it's too give you am idea, not exactly gospel. And every mfg has a nominal twist variation of about 1/2 twist +/-.
