    mod 10 , action screw spacing ?


    So i was looking at a mod 10 in 234 just for the action , someone told me theres a difference in older models and newer models. That thay have different screw spacing . Is this true ? If so how do you tell the difference. Sorry im used to sako and Rem .. lol

    There is a difference, the newer is 4.4 and I couldn't tell you off the top of my head. There is also different styles of bolt releases, top and bottom.

    One is 4.27 the other is 4.40

    Well then, i think its a older one. I got the number on the receive. Whats the best way to measure it

    I use a dial or digital caliper and measure from center of hole to center of hole. Could use a tape measurer. Important thing is center to center.
