    Factory DBM Inlet ID?


    Can someone tell me what iDBM inlet this is? its off of one of Savages Stock rifles...got the stock from Numrich...

    That looks to be an early (1959-1965) stock that would be for a blind magazine with a stamped metal bottom metal plate that attaches with the two action screws. Not sure if that inlet differed from the DBM inlet though as the DBM of the era used a side push-button to release the magazine. If there's a hole in the right side it's for the early DBM, if not it's for an early blind mag.
