The Savage 111 fxp i think 3 in .223 , synth. black stock , internal mag .
the trigger pull is extremely hard on this gun. I have read many threads on
trigger jobs for this gun. The trigger assembly in this gun is like the Stevens 200.
single wire spring with hook over into the setscrew. no setscrew under the sear.

The weird problem with this trigger is that i can actually take the wire spring right
off the trigger, slam and lock the bolt many times , bounce the butt stock on the floor
and it will not go off. safety locks right up , can pull with 2 fingers on trigger as hard
as i can and nothing. this thing locks right up.

Now I'm thinking of either stoning the top of the trigger/sear or drill and add the setscrew
under the sear.

this will be my first trigger using stones and fully understand the risks and know i can get
a replacement trigger for 100 bucks.
