I'm originally from back east but moved to the mountains for my job about ten years ago. I'm fortunate to be able to carry every day for work and I enjoy shooting just about anything that goes bang. I am partial to SIG handguns, like my ARs and AKs, but have just as much shooting .22lr out past 100 yards as shooting my Garand or Mosin. Like many I like spending my non-shooting time at the bench reloading.
Tomorrow I pick up my first Savage rifle. It is a 2004 110 chambered for .30-06. I am intrigued by the opportunity to swap barrels without having a gunsmith finish a new barrel for me. I look forward to learning from the members on the board and hope that I can answer a question or two myself.
