    223 Feeding in a 308 Mag box

I have an older long action 110 action that has a short mag box for 308 size cartridges that I am trying to convert to feed 223. I have swapped the bolt head and the first round will feed but any other rounds won't. What do I need to do to the mag box to get it to work?

Place a wall in the back of 308 box and use a 223 follower, or use a 223 magazine box, and put an L bracket on the back of it to fit into the action.

Use a .223 mag box. A standard .308 size mag box will not feed .223's.
