    Blueprinting Savage Actions ?

Is it possible to blueprint or tune a Savage model 12 action? I was under the impression that the floating bolt head would align the bolt face with the bore. I have 2 mod. 12 LRP's in 260 rem. One rifle shoots 1/4 moa & the other 1/2 moa, I handload for both & cannot improve the 1/2 moa rifle with any ammo tweaks.

You can send the action to Fred Moreo at Sharp Shooter Supply and have him do a Time and True job as well as true the lug and nut. I thinks that's about the closest you're going to get for what you're looking for.

Are these 2 rifles in hs precision stocks or laminates or just Tupperware? If you have a rigid stock you can play with the torque of the bedding screws to make the rifle shoot better.
Willing to give back for what the sport has done for me!

Both are in HS stocks torqued to 65 in. lbs. 1/2 moa rifle has been steel bedded around the recoil lug ( it would move fore & aft in the stock )

How long of a wait if you send the bolt and action out? I heard it may take weeks.
