What long action models had detachable box magazines? I have a used XLR stock on the away that will fit a long action with mag. The 3 long actions I have are not box magazines. I am thinking I can put one of my current ones in and shoot single shot which is no problem. I have one that has a plate welded to the bottom of the mag opening making it a single shot only it might work but it has a 223 barrel that is shot out but I would rather use the stock for either my 6MM BR or .308.
You can put a Detachable Box Magazine (aka- "DBM") on about any model you just need the appropriate parts. There are some aftermarket options as well that should suit your needs. Do some looking at Pacific Tool and Gauge's website and also search for CDI bottom metal.
