I got a savage MK2 FV with 21 inch bull barrel for shooting at my club. The rifle came with one piece scope mount no
sights. Gun wieghs 6 pounds ( at least what factory says ) mine has the plastic stock. The problem is with the scope on gun wieghs 8oz to much for the matches I want to shoot in. Will only cut and recrown barrel as last resort. Any one have ideas how to fix this problem? Thank You for any and all help.
