It is beautiful, but you probably just thawed out from a terrible winter. We only had some ice pellets this year.

More like five months here lol. But not having any real snow or ice buildup in winter is a bonus for us.
Back on topic though, it sure must be nice to have such scenic, uncrowded areas where you can really stretch out a rifle.

South Louisiana. Not worth even taking a picture of our range. I've seen cow pastures that are more scenic lol.

Theres a problem with posting good shooting places. Especially if there also hunting places.
After you spend hours pruning the new growth, cutting firewood, and reinforcing the bench
you built and leave there, your apt to find some jerk who arrives at 4 am and tells you that you dont own the place.
And of coarse at least in that respect he would be correct.

Here's the midpoint of our 400yd line.

If you go much beyond 4-450yds, you end up here and then you might as well have brought a fishing pole...

    Welcome to sunny Florida.

I can shoot any direction with the wind at my back as far as my rifle can sling a bullet. And go weeks without seeing another person.

Where's this close to? We shoot up by Recluse, WY. I just got some gongs finished and we're going to set up a range. It's green everywhere this summer.
