Thumbs Up who says savages can't shoot?

I'm not much of a bragger usually but I'm pretty tickled tonight with my "new" fox gun tonight. This state changed the game laws last year to allow centerfires under 22 cal to be used during deer season for predators. I decided to rebarrel my 223 to 17 Remington. I ordered a Shilen prefit @ 22 inches and had my smith screw it on. So far I have 58 rounds down it in the first week, and here is where I left off. I figure after a couple hundred she should settle right in.

That looks like you have a shooter. I'd brag too.

I have wondered about trying a 17cal centerfire of some sort sometime in the future. Maybe when I run out of projects.
