    Boyds Stock for Axis

I have an Axis that I am changing the barrel on to a light varmint contour in 7mm 08. I stand hunt with it and utilize a 56mm objective scope. Which Boyds stock would you recommend for this gun and scope combination? I am thinking the Prairie Hunter for the higher comb.

    Thanks!

I just like the shape of the prairie hunter myself.

Yeah, I put a 25-06 in a Classic. It's okay, but I think I would have liked the looks and feel of the Prairie Hunter better. They are both good, though.

Wish the varminter had a non thumbhole option. PraireHunter is nice and really adds just around a pound of weight.
