Hello all,
Well I finally obtained an FVT. An older non accutrigger version. I did replace the trigger with a Basix and that is lots better than factory. I also put it into a laminated wood stock. That took a small amount of chiseling to get the sight block down and the rifle sitting in the stock properly.
Then I went out to sight it in and test which ammo it likes.
Interestingly Fed target match did not group as well as some of the cheaper Blazer and CCI standard velo.

The issue,
Sighting it in at 50yds it is shooting about 2-3 inches high. The rear sight does not have any more room to adjust down. It is at it's lowest level. I need to have it sighted in correctly.

Any thoughts? Suggestions?

Front sight riser? From where?

Anything I can do to increase the amount the rear can be lowered?

Thanks I will impatiently wait for your solutions!
