I have a new Stevens 200 centerfeed .223. About half the time, rounds are not picked up by the bolt. If I press down slightly on the nose of the cartridge then it will feed fine. Any suggestions?

Hey Solo,
I had the exact same problem with mine. If you very carefully spread open the feed lips of the magazine a very small amount at a time, test as you go, you can fix it easily yourself. If yours is like mine, the rear area of the feed lips was too close together, not allowing the rear of the cartridge to stick up far enough for the bolt to hit it and pick it out of the mag.
