    Laminate or Synthetic?

Yup, I flip flop all night long...
Building a hunting rig, and can't decide between a boyds classic and a duramax.
I know they both will need to be pillar bedded. What do Ya'll think? ???

    Duramaxx already has pillars.

If you can use a Duramaxx, that is the way that I would go... hands down!!

Oh well my vote goes to the laminate. I like the look and feel better than plastic or fiberglass, just look at my picture post and you can tell, all laminates except for one and that is waiting on one from J Russo.
A little heavier but easier to hold steady.

I just prefer the synthetic in a hunting rifle. My Savage had the tupperware stock on it from the factory, but I replaced it with a VLP stock from Savage. It was an awesome stock... but really heavy. Another reason is, dealing with the rain and snow. Just my $0.02 worth...

Yeah I like the way wood looks too, and wood is recoil reducing by nature...
It will come to a coin toss, I'm sure.
    Thanks! ;D
