    Which accutrigger?

Let's assume you know you will run a 1.5lb trigger permanently. Would you choose the target accutrigger and run it heavy, or the varmint accutrigger and run it on the lightest setting? If one over the other, why?

Target and run it heavy. The accu-trigger design works better when run in the upper 2/3's of its range vs the lower 1/3.

Now that said I have a couple of varmint models that run very smoothly in the 12oz range, under their min spec weight, but that is not the norm and so it is a much more secure bet to run the Target version on its heavier end of adjustment to get to the same place.

    Just my observations.
